Boundary
Community school (BCS) was founded in 21st February in 1982 and
as a registered charity has been providing education and youth activities
to the London borough of Tower Hamlets for nearly two decades.
Boundary
Community School (BCS) as one of the oldest grass roots community
organisation led by Ethnic Minority community. It has emerged as
a successful IT training provider in Tower Hamlets and in particular
the West of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. BCS has successfully
completed a pilot Project and subsequently one full phase of IT
training with high level of success rate in conjunction with a consortium
of three organisations in which BCS was a lead member organisation.
After
the disintegration of the consortium, BCS has been working and managing
successfully vocational training projects and gained considerable
experience in managing and controlling projects which are funded
by ESF, SRB, LBTH and other funding bodies.
Currently,
BCS is running projects funded by ESF, SRB and LBTH. BCS is an accredited
centre with the City & Guilds and OCR examination boards to
provide training for a number of schemes such as VQ, NVQ Level 1/2,
CLAIT and IBTII etc.
